New Blog Name for the New Year!

Happy New Year everyone -

Welcome back to the PB4L Cluster Blog and as you can see our cluster blog is now called https://pb4lcentral.blogspot.com.

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Lou Reddy and I will be your Sector Coach for PB4L this year. Previously, I have been a sector coach for Central and Manukau primary schools, and also have been implementing both Tier 1 and 2 at Wesley Intermediate School. I would like to thank you all for the hard work in 2016 as coaches and team leaders and also welcome any new coaches or team leaders who have taken up the mantle of leading PB4L in your school.

Lots of changes at our school - new online newsletter

This year brings a lot of changes for the way PB4L support will be provided to you. We now have two options for PLD, firstly via cluster coaches meeting (clusters problem solving/sharing) or the workshops ( facilitator led and topic based - dates TBC). If you are listed as a cluster meetings school but wish to attend the workshops, please flick me or Marama an email and we will fit you in.

As per last year - if you want to get quick updates on what is going on for my clusters, please check into this blog as I try to update it regularly.

The first meeting this year is being held at Wesley Intermediate School- 776 Sandringham Road Mt Roskill, so that you can get an idea of what has been happening at our school in 2016/17.

If anyone is keen to host the next session please let me know so that I can email everyone.

At this stage meetings will be held every every Week 4 / 8 of each term on a Tuesday but this is TBC and I will discuss this further at the first meeting.

I am hoping to give more notice this year of the meetings so that you can make arrangements to attend - keep in mind that the Return on Investment for your attendance should always be that we share ideas and resource you with strategies that could help your teachers implement PB4L in your school.

See you all soon and please do let me know if there has been any changes to the staff for the coaches and team leader roles in your schools and I forward this email to the new staff members ASAP.
